All meals are communal and served at set times. A range of drinks are on offer in the bar, and in the morning a full cooked breakfast is provided. The property offers gluten free meals and is accredited by Coeliac UK. Many of the rooms have views of the fields and hills of the Peak District. Each has traditional furnishings, and comes with a flat-screen TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. A range of footpaths and trails pass through the hotel’s grounds, and you can enjoy walks along the nearby River Dove.
